maybe I am taking this the wrong way but. The ME syndrome almost killed are marrage. It took that argument for me to be able to explan that I supported her through her entire journey and still do. Just as the members on this board support each other. I feel the decision for this life changing surgury can not be takenlightly, or by oneself if others are affected and involved. If this journey is all about oneself and the thought that you have to do it all yourself. What is the point of this board in general? Airn't we here to offer support and suggestions to everyone? Yes Cleve .. you have taken it the wrong way . The all about me is just that .. It is up to us as WLS patients to take care of our selves. We are not to depend on any one but us to do it . No spouse or significant other can do it . We have to . We also have to make the time to take care of ourselves, to do and become what we may . This has nothing to do with the support or love that we get from others around us . It has to do with being ACCOUNTABLE.. and that my friend is up to us .. the GBS patient.
