Congratulations! That is an awesome accomplishment!!!

Happy 3 Year Bandiversary to me! What a ride! This has been the best decision I ever made for myself. As of today, I have lost 103 pounds (412 sticks of butter) and 76 inches (6.3 feet) Some advice from me: Don't give up! Don't get discouraged. When the weightloss slows, know that your skin is catching up and shrinking too! Don't "test" yourself. Don't try naughty foods just to see if you can handle them. I stayed away from bread for more than the first 1 1/2 years. I feel bad when people say they can eat a subway sandwich. I think why did you even try to? Just more fat and calories! Do reward yourself even for the little accomplishments! Do take your measurements! I would never have believed that I have lost 14 inches from my hips, 12.5 inches from my thighs and 11 inches from my waist. We just don't remember how big we were before. Good Luck to you all! Today is a bad day. I have been crying so much that It took me a long time to get signed onto the net. I need to turn to you all again, but now it is for my Grandpa. My Grandpa Earl is my maturnal Grandfather. He is 84 years old. He and my Nana raised me part of my life and I am very close to them. They recently just left my town to make their last trip to Las Vegas. My Grandpa had fallen on hard cement and broke his hip I am told. He has to have surgery. He is at a hospital in Las Vegas called Mountain View Hospital. My Grandpa's PCP here in Chelan had told him a few months back that he has a leaking heart valve and if there were to do surgery that it my be too much for him and he may not make it. I am so very worried that I may lose my Grandpa. I don't even have money to go be with him. I fear I may not see him again. I am trying to stay positive. I just can't stop crying about him. He will have to stay in a convalescent hospital for 6-8 weeks. He is so far away from home. All I can do is pray my heart out and turn to everyone at OH for theirs prayers. My Nana (grandmother) was stepping out of the elevator at the hospital and stubbed her bad toe bad enough that now she is in the emergency room there getting checked out. PLEASE, PLEASE pray for them. I hope many people are reading this. Please send to others you know, churches, anyone. We need your prayers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Debbie Davidson

please read the comments i added to the bottom of my profile about "my surgeon" and trip to have a consultation. if you have any advice please let me know because i am so stuck right now. it is long but very important to me that people preparing for this can see how much trouble they might be getting themselves into . maybe some of you that have been through it can offer suggestions. i need help and dont know anyone better to ask now than utah. and thanks for the suggestion from a fellow utahn that rersponded to the main messageboard. i invite any advice and i would really really appreciate it. thanks so much
