Topic: Throw out the spinach
WASHINGTON (AP) - Consumers nationwide should not eat fresh bagged spinach, say health officials probing a multistate outbreak of E. coli that killed at least one person and made dozens of others sick.
Food and Drug Administration and state officials don't know the cause of the outbreak, although raw, packaged spinach appears likely. "We're advising people not to eat it," said Dr. David Acheson of the FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition
It was reported a few minutes ago to throw out all bagged spinach!

Any of the docs at Rocky Mountain Associated Physicians (www.utahbariatrics.com) are great. My RNY was performed by Dr. Simper, who was spectacular. RMAP was really good to work with because they take a holistic approach, not just a "cut you and leave you" approach.

Good morning! I'm doing well! Had a great weekend and back to work.
I only take a Multi Vit/Min right now and that's a children's chewable. No B12 or Iron for me as of yet. Labs are all looking good - but I am sure the 3 mo. mark will tell a better tale. Try a health food store for the subling B12.
AWESOME job on your loss!!! THAT'S GREAT! Enjoy every second!!!
I hit -50 lbs when we got home from Vegas this weekend so I am excited!

Hi Peggy, How are you doing? I cried this morning when I got on the scale. It said 245.5, I just couldnt believe it. I was 262 on admit to the hospital so thats a loss of 16.5 pounds in 11 days. Unbelievable. One thing I have found that helps me get in extra water is green tea with splenda. Its delicious and a little change from plain water although I love water and drank a lot of it before surgery. I refill the bottled water containers with my own filtered water and 3 and 3/4 bottles a day is the 64 oz. Its easier for me to keep track of it that way. What kind of vitamins are you taking? Im using th spray kind, the taste isnt too bad to me and I dont have to swallow a pill. My B12 is sublingual. The spray was a sample form my surgeon and Im trying to find where I can purchase them locally for when this runs out. I think its funny that I would have been mortified before surgery to have anyone know how much I weighed and now here I am posting daily updates on the internet! Talk to you soon, Annette
