Starbucks doesn't have food but an iced decaf saves my butt often! ;) Try Triple B in Cedar City. Just south of Lin's on Main Street. FRESH food, soups, ton's of veggie dishes, flavors are outstanding and NOT loaded with oils, etc. New location in Cedar City - same owner had a spot in St. George. YUM! Also, Sharky's in St. George. I had Yucatan Yams yesterday and a delish salad! I'll think of more soon! Drive safe.

Topic: Up and down the I-15... where and what to eat?

I go up and down the interstate alot from Hill AFB to St. George...  anyone know of any places that are $ friendly for bandsters or have things that are easy to eat? Outback has sweetpotatoes and they are so hot they are easily mushed Chuck a rama has veggies and such that go down easily But I hate to pay full price - especially at the buffet when I can only eat max 5 bites and just sit and watch everyone else eat... plus paying 10 bucks is about $2 per bite... very expensive!!! Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I'm in Provo.  I think there are groups up towards Sandy and Salt Lake City. I moved here Christmas last year so it's not quite been a year and I can honestly say Utah is like no other place I've lived.

Wow... you surely are passionate. The best way you could help this great nation is to be the best wife, daughter-in-law, employee.... etc.  you can be.   I've seen folks with their appendix out get denied entry.... or something so minor as a heart mururm... or even if they had ADD as a kid and took concerta as a child..... doesn't seem right...  One thing did cross my mind when it came to the band... that is if someone still had it in....   in the field eating MREs.... the cheese&crackers...  or even the BBQ beans...  oh my and the meats that expans when added with water.... well, the band surely wouldn't let that go down...hard enough without it.  And those calories have got to be ingested in just a few short minutes and it's on the go again.   "...I had Chinese, a little of several items."... this may be the biggest issue. I just don't think DoD wan't to invest in studies to see IF it could be done to open up recruiting to those with gastric banding. As for me, I appreciate your patriotism....glad to see it.
