Topic: RE: Fills USA Fill Dr quitting
Hi!  I'm moving to SLC this summer from Arizona.  Do you know if RMAP will do fills for people banded in another state?  My old clinic didn't offer much support  (okay... no support) and I really want to get into a clinic where I will be welcome and in a supportive atmosphere! Thanks!

Dr. Smith is wonderful. He has a wonderful "bedside manner". He answered all of my questions. And I had a lot of them.

I had RNY surgery. I haven't had any complications except the foamies and they aren't too bad. Just inconvienent.

My husband had surgery the same day and he hasn't had any complications except we have both had constipation. Another doctor gave us a good recipie to help that.

I too had scars from a precious operation. To bypass it they took another route for that incision but they were able to do that just fine.

Pre op we had to do three protein shakes a day (we only did two) and had a Lean Cusine at night. It wasn't bad at all.

We highly recommend him. By the way, my brother, Ray Wilde, works in the office there. He is the one *****commended Dr. Smith to us. We had an appointment for another place but cancelled it.

Any of the three doctors there are good. We took Dr. Smith because he had the most experience. Jo Ann

Hi Mick and JoAnn, I am contemplating weight loss surgery and having Dr Smith as my Doc, What type of surgery did you have?  and how did it go for you? Im not sure that I can have it done because I have had prior surgery on my tummy that was pretty invasive Ill just have to ask the Dr.  Did you have to do the liquid diet before surery? Im very interested in your progress I hope your still looking at this board.. Pam

Hi, I'm new to this site. My husband and I had our surgery Oct 10, 2007. We had it the same day. We are two months out now and are doing good. Mick has lost 70 pounds (counting preop) I have lost 53 (counting preop. I also like to count the 20 pounds i lost in the year of Weigh****cher's.

We are 62 years old, have been married 41 years. We have 8 children and 27 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Still we felt we are not too old to get healthier. Mick is off his diabetes meds already. It is wonderful.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you. Jo Ann

If you are still having trouble with your ticker, here is what worked for me. Jo Ann

Tickers:
I don't know if you have gotten to your ticker production yet.
If you haven't
find someone's ticker and you will see above it "ticker factory".
Click on that. If it doesn't work on one find another.
You can actually click on the actual ticker
if you are just trying to change your ticket by updating it.
This will take you to the site.
Click "create your own ticker."
Scroll down and click on "Weight loss".
It shows different tickers.
Click on one that you like.
Click next at the bottom of the page.
To get the clicker slider, choose one and click on the circle.
Click at the bottom of the page where it says "next".
Choose a password.
Fill out the chart.
Click again on "next" at the bottom of the page.
Fill out the chart.
Click again on "next".
Right click on the copy of your ticker.
Click copy.
Come back to this posting site. This may be difficult.
Do it like you got to the site the first time. That works for me.
There is a blue box at the left.
Click on "User Settings".
You will see a box for signature.
At bottom of the page make sure you change the default editor to "plain text".
Right click on box for signature.
If this is the first time it will be blank.
If it is the second time and you are updating your ticker click on the actual ticker in the box and paste your ticker.
Go to bottom of page and click on "enable signature".
Click on "save".
