Yes it is true every school district in Utah has it off and that is where everyone flocks to.  We did it a few years ago.  My kids have Thursday, Friday and Monday off.  Have fun!!!!! 

I was wondering if this was true? I found it on a Disneylad help website.....my family is going to Disneyland on Oct 17 th.

Utah Education Association Convention - Usually mid-October. (2008 UEA convention is October 16-17.) Because of this teachers' convention each year, most schools in the state of Utah have a 4-day or 5-day weekend. Many Utah residents take that opportunity to travel to Disneyland (some people call it Utah Escapes to Anaheim week), so that long weekend can be surprisingly crowded. .

Hello Northerners-Just got my letter from my PCP and faxed it to my insurance this morning.  I am hopeful and optimistic for approval from my insurance.  I am however having a problem finding a surgeon in Northern Utah.  I heard that there might be one in South Ogden but so far I have not located a name.  Otherwise, I will be seeking out Steven Simper.  Any feedback on Dr. Simper?  I liked the profile of Christina Richards also but she is not on my insurance.
