Topic: Possibly moving to Utah from Texas?
Howdy folks!

My husband, myself and our children may be relocating to Utah from Texas due to my husbands company.  Right now we live about 1 hour from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  I was curious as to exactly how big the Salt Lake area was?  Is it pretty comparable to Dallas in size?  We don't want to live right in the hustle and bustle of a big city.  We'd like to live maybe out in a surrounding town but, close enough to the city that we can hop in the car and go shopping and out to eat!

Any suggestions?  Ideas? Pros-cons- advice?

It's kinda nerve racking moving out of state to a new place where you know nothing about the town or area.  What are the school systems like?  We have a 1st grader this year.  We'd also need a new good dentist, pediatrician and I'd need a follow up surgeon.  I'd hate to move and have problems 2 years out from my RNY.  I haven't' had any thus far...but we cant predict the future.

Anyways......Thanks in advance!

Hugs,
Ash :)

Hello everyone, my name is Melissa and I live in North Logan way up here at the tippy top of the state.  I have just been approved for the Lap GB as well.  I am excited but a little scared too.  I have a great big fear of the unknown I guess.
I have been obese for at least the last 15 years or so and I am so lookin forward to being able to walk up the stairs without puffing for air, to have my knees, feet and back to stop aching and I guess I too would love to look riduculously fabulous in clothes that were not a double digit size.
I have recently gotten married and would love to do the activities that my active husband can do, I look forward to hiking, biking and just having fun with him.  I also have alterior motives for the weight loss, I would love to be healthy enough to have a baby and start a healthy family.
So.... good luck to all of us!
