After weight loss surgery and as your weight decreases, you might have questions about the extra skin “hanging around". Questions like….Will the skin adapt to my new body with time? Does diet and exercise help with extra skin? Does how fast I lose the weight affect my skin elasticity? Is plastic surgery only a cosmetic treatment?
To answer these and any other questions that you might have, we invite you to join with us at our February support group meetings to hear from experts regarding those problem areas where there may be excess skin after weight loss surgery.

Hi All!
I am looking for any support groups for Lap Band patients in my area. I attend the support groups offered by my weight loss center, however looking for some new friends closer to me who meet more frequently. Let me know if there are any of you out there!

It is generally accepted that there is no way to specifically target your stomach/gut for weight removal, you have to do general exercise. As it is the first place fat is stored it will also be the last place that weight is removed from your body. Just concentrate on eating right and cardio exercises.
