PCP recommendations???

Does anyone know of a PCP in the salt lake area who knows how to work with insurance companies to get approval for weightloss surgery? I'm just beginning the process. My insurance covers the surgery, but I need to do a doctor-supervised weightloss trial before I can get approval. I don't have a PCP right now, so I'm looking for one who has experience with this kind of thing...especially if they've worked with Aetna insurance. thanks!

I don't live in Salt Lake, I'm in Davis County but in Layton Dr. Kevin Gardner at Wasatch Family Practice is familiar with weight loss surgery and so forth. You may want to try him. He's my pcp and he is GREAT!!! Good Luck! Tammy
