Any info about Dr. Max Cannon?

I'm most seriously considering one of the surgeons at the Rocky Mountain Associated physcians (sp?). But I live in Provo and Dr. Cannon is in Payson. The docs at RMAP require about $1,500 or so up front, of which $500 is an out of pocket education fee. Dr. Cannon requires $100 up front and that's it. Dr. Cannon is less experienced than the Drs. at RMAP. I don't know if I want to go with some one who is less experienced just because he is closer and charges less money. We're talking about my life here! But, I thought, to be fair, maybe I'd better talk with some people who have personal experience with Dr. Cannon. Maybe he is actually a fantastic doctor and I'm just letting the fact that he hasn't been doing gastric bypass as long as the other doctors get in the way of my thinking. So...anyone had surgery with Dr. Cannon? Or anyone know somebody's aunt's neighbor's sister's boyfriend's dog's dry cleaner's who had the surgery? Any info at all? Thanks a bunch. Lynda D.

Hi Lynda!!! I had no idea about the $1500 at RMAP. I have only been told about the $500 education fee. What did I miss? I have never heard of Dr. Cannon. I have chosen Dr.Simper and after talking to people he has alot of experience. I hope that someone else knows about Dr.Cannon. Jenn
