Utah Lap Bandsters Get-Together

This past month we had a great time getting together at Marie Callendars for dinner. In fact, it was so nice and relaxed, and the food and company so enjoyable, that we decided to make it the standard. At least for the next 3 or 4 months. Then maybe those who have farther to travel (like Brad and Dan) can make arrangements to be in town. Hi, I am new to this board as of today. I got banded last Thursday, May 12th. Sitting around my home recovering has given me an oppty to review the band sites, and hence I found this one. A few weeks ago, I was able to meet with some of the nicest people at the SLC Obesity Help Center for a meeting, then lunch. Since I am banded, and not bypassed, I believe hanging out and talking with similarly situated fellow bandsters may prove to be more productive and enlightening. I checked my calendar for the next three month's get togethers, and find that I am actually out of town each time! Does your group get together at any other time, or on Saturdays, or anything? It would be great to get a sense of how life goes and what to expect now that the food part will undoubtedly change. Thanks, Brad
