Post Op question

Hello. This is my first post here. I just had lap-band surgery last week. I have a question for those experienced in the after-surgery routine. Everything has gone really well. Today I am feeling some tightness in my throat. Is this normal? I am not having any trouble swallowing. It is just a tight feeling. I'm a little paranoid about slippage. After going through all of this I can't imagine have to go back in for another surgery to take care of slippage. Does anyone have experience with what happens if the band slips? Should I be worried about the tight feeling in my throat? Thanks.

Call your doctor, surgeon, or the place you had your lap band done at. My throat started to hurt a few days after surgery. Turned out I had strep throat. Go figure. In the meantime, drink WARM liquids to help loosen you up. Good luck. Tammy
