Anybody work for an IASIS Hospital?

Does anybody know anybody who works at an Iasis Hospital, i.e. Davis Hospital, Jordan Valley, Pioneer Valley, or Salt Lake Regional. Will their insurance pay for WLS. I would hope so since Dr. Hanafy is now doing them at Pioneer Valley. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sheila, My husband works for Davis Hospital and their insurance is Altius and it does not cover WLS. I know that the Wish Center is at Pioneer but they are their own business. We asked about the discount possibly given and the Wish Center said we would have to work that out with the hospital. Maybe you have found more out. I had lap banding surgery in March and did self pay.Hope this helps some. JoyLyn Dawson

Thanks for the info JoyLyn. From what info I have gathered none of the hospitals in Utah have an insurance company that will pay for WLS. How are you doing since your lap band? Great, I hope! Thanks again!
