GEEEZ!

Geez LaWEEEZ! Anybody else sick of seeing messages from the main board? Where are all the Utah people???? Anybody out there? I'd much rather hear from you guys! Tash

Hi Tash I guess everyone just automatically goes to the main message board but your right, it is fun to hear from people here at home. I go tomorrow to have my first meeting with my Doctor. I have been waiting for a month to get this first step over with I hope I get some good news and I will be able to have the surgery. Its good to hear from another Utahn thats been through this. Hey Kathy! Who's your doctor? What surgery are you having? This is very exciting. Be sure to write down all your questions so you don't forget any of them. I check every so often just to see if there is something going on. It is pretty much dead around here. I'm glad the main message boards are full, but I'd like to meet a few other banders or RNY patients from UT. Good Luck! T

Hey Kristen! Thanks for replying! Nice to have you here. I mostly hang out in the lap band message area. What surgery did you have? Kids? Married? I'm married (12 yrs next week) and have 2 boys! I had the lap band on Aug 11, 2003 and have loved every minute of it!... well, just about! I've lost 62 pounds and 49+ inches... I can't believe it! I have friends that don't recognize me! It's the best compliment they could give me! I'd love to hear from you again! Tasha 274/211/160

Don't be sick of me! Im in California, but I grew up in Utah, & my family is all in Utah. I can't help but follow this board. I lived in St. George and went to college in Cedar City. My mother works for the hospital in St. G and she says they are starting to do RNY's down there. For the moment they are only allowed to do one per week. I can't wait to come for a visit and show everybody the new me.

HECK no! I'm not sick of you! That's great! How long ago was your surgery? How much have you lost? Only one a week at the hospital? I bet they have a waiting list? Do they only have one doctor to do it? That seems weird! What part of No. Ca are you in? My dad lived in Guerneville (2 hrs. north of SF in Redwoods next to the Russian River) for 11 years until he moved to freakin' hot and sunny Palm Springs a couple of years ago. Those two places are night and day from each other! I love them both though! I look forward to hearing from you again! Tash 274/211/160
