BMI 35 and I have Medicare, Any Utah docs accept Medicare?

Hello,
I have a BMI of 35 with GERD, knee/hip problems and pulmonary hypertension as well as high cholesterol. I think I would qualify for RNY gastric bypass but are there any doctors in the Salt Lake Valley that accept Medicare??? What does Medicare cover, do I have to pay a co-pay? Has anyone with Medicare had gastric bypass in the SL Valley? If so can you please let me know what steps you took? I'm really scared, and I have a hard time talking to people (very shy.)

I had Medicaid-Healthy U. Salt lake regional accepted this. There is also Rocky mountain, but I'm not sure what they accept. I  had to pay for the education class and a couple of other things, out of pocket it cost me $ 800.00, But well worth it!!! Good luck to you =) Jenn
