Support Group

Hi! I just found this site and have found it very useful. I have a surgery date of Jul31st. Just wondering if anyone knows of a support group in the SLC area?

I think there is one at St. Marks hospital on the second Wednsday of each month. I had my surgery there two months ago and they listed this group in their info. packet.  I haven't gone because I live about an hour and a half away.  You can call Rocky Mountain Associated Physicians at 801-268-3800 to find out more info.  Good luck!

  Hi Ethel.  How did your surgery go?  Very well, I hope.  Dr. Richards did my band on 8/3/07, so I'm right behind you.  There is also a support group at SL Regional once a month.  Dr. Richard's group will email you about the time and date.  I missed the August meeting.  it was on the second Weds at 6 or 6:30, and I was too newly out of surgery.  See you at the September meeting?
