daughter needs lap band surgeon in utah

Hi, my daughter lives in Utah and wants to have the Lap Band surgery, she has United Health Care PPO and the only doctor I found in Utah (Dr. Hanafy at Pioneer Hospital) said he is not an appiointed as a provider for United Health Care. Does anyone know any doctors anywhere in Utah that does LapBand, and/or anything about the Insurance United Health Care through employer My Family.Com. Thank you for any info.

RMAP in SLC does RNY and UHC Nationwide does have them as a peferred provider their number is 800-999-9970. Your daughter works for an amazing company and if I was a little farther south I would come to work there. :-)

You may also want to check out Dr. Christina Richards her number is 801-478-0010. She is the only female surgeon in Utah to do Lap-Bands.
