Today I am grateful..

For understanding friends..

That my friendship with BIll kept me strong..

For the weekend with the little fools..

For strength..

For knowing things will be okay..

For Debra who is a friend that will never be replaced..

They said everything was fine.. I am okay.. The pain is scar tissue.. I will be okay just have to tough it out.. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers..

I have become friends with Bill W and on my third week of sobriety.. I found that I didn't eat much when I was drinking and now that I am not I have to tell myself to stop.. I think I would rather be big and sober than skinny and dead.. Because if I didn't quit that is where  I was headed.. Keep me in your prayers..

For the bitter sweet weekend I have had..

For my mentor Duck who we laid to rest on Saturday..  He was a very wise man and taught me so much..

For One Windmill that Homey and I played on Friday..  If you know what that is you are country but if you don't it is where you are driving and basically count all the windmills that you see.. BTW I won 14-13.. LOL

For bowling time with the Little Fools..

That I got to see the Little Fools play basketball.. Our future sports teams are in trouble because they have no coaching at all..

That although this was a tough weekend with the funeral and the Superbowl.. That Bill W and I are still friends..
