MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE FOR TODAY......“Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.” ~Mark Victor Hansen

Good morning,
Nothing special going on in my world, work on the agenda. I need to call and reschedule doctors appointment my PCP made while I was on vacation, needless to say I was not aware or in town to make or change appointment.
Scale moved downed some but still over the redline.
Have a great day!

I don't know about making me "happy" but it is a step in the right direction.
Survived powwow with my Chief yesterday and still have plenty of deflated butt skin to use. When I learned what the DA's office wanted me to find out it turns out I wasted a small, but high quality, hissy fit over nothing.
Took two rounds of paperwork to get it set up right but have the hearing on the disposition of the biting dog from Saturday on the docket for Monday.
Maybe just maybe I can get something done on something else today including some contraption time. Staying a couple of pounds over the red line and it is chapping my aforementioned deflated butt. Clothes still fit but not keen on the digits.
Go do your thing!
Don't get me started on accidents, insurance companies and people claiming to be hurt. Call it getting skeptical with old age but unless I see blood, bone protruding from a limb, eye popped out of a socket, brain matter etc - you ain't hurt!
Being married to an "Air Force brat" have better appreciation of service men and women.
Glad they are honoring your uncle. I am so grateful for the men and women that serve out Country. Please thank him for me.

Found out last night home town is going to honor my Uncle for his Military service at the football game Friday night. So proud of him. Vietnam Vet, he saw & had to do a lot of awful stuff. So can't miss the event. Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful weather! Have a good day, Brenda
Good Hump Day Everyone,
I am claiming that today is going to be a great day for everyone reading this post. We should be grateful everyday of our lives no matter what is going on. I know at times this is very difficult to do. But everyday that we wake up is a gift from God to us and what we do with that day is OUR gift back to him. Today I am grateful right now for my morning coffee, grateful for my family, friends, life and health. Grateful for my WLS because had I not had my surgery 9 yrs ago next month I might not even be alive right now. Grateful for the life that my surgery has allowed me to have. I love and am so grateful to the fact that I can sit on the floor for hours ( well...sometimes ) and play with my 2 yr. old granddaughter. Grateful for support groups, Obesity Help, life in general. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today and have a super blessed day.
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE FOR TODAY.....When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world.
