Good Pre Friday Everyone,
Hope your having a great week and are getting busy Christmas shopping. I know I haven't done nearly enough shopping yet. Today I am grateful first for God in my life and the peace that he brings to my life even when everything around me seems to be crumbling all around me. Grateful for my WLS and all the choices of different surgeries. Grateful for Obesity Help and all the different forums, all the amazing people here answering questions for others who need answers and for support groups which are much needed to keep us on track. Grateful for everyday I'm given to live on this earth. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today and have a blessed day.

Was looking for something timely to use when I game across this picture. Like homemade chocolate chip cookies too good to pass up and sweet enough I almost dumped when I saw it!
Work and walk is life in a nutshell today. Managed to get in four miles Tuesday. Need to make amends for too much Mexican food last night for supper.

You know....even though I am having trials in my life right now....I am SO grateful that even through the issues I'm dealing with ( not anything to do with my health ) I can see God's hand all in this. Today I am so grateful for God in my life and working in and through this issue with my 29 yr. old son. Grateful for my faith and answered prayers in my life and those of the one's I pray for. Grateful for my WLS and all the choices of WLS today...and grateful for Obesity Help which has been part of my life now for 10 yrs. Grateful for all the things that I can do now that were only dreams before my WLS 9 yrs ago. Grateful for all the forums...everyone who posts and replies to posts on the forums. Grateful for family, friends. my health and my life. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today and have a super blessed day !!!

Good morning,
Thought I was going to have to take DH bid card away last night. His sister was not with us so I was the one helping him box up the stuff, as soon as I thought I was done he would win more.
Work has been quiet hope it continues so I can get caught up.
Some belt broke on my car so need to get it in shop so I am not stuck without a car this weekend.

Not a lot going on but Dr appts. went to hand Dr this morning, looks like surgery is in my future. Plan on waiting till early spring if I can. Little sister and I both have appts with Dr Ayoola at 1:30 today. If all looks good, little sister will be flying home Thursday. work was busy yesterday, but today the phone is dead! which I guess is good since I'll be leaving shortly. Stay warm!!! Brenda
Good Tuesday Everyone,
Sorry I've been kind of MIA with this post lately. I've been dealing with some personal issues with one of my adult children. Remember everyone....Your life choices DO affect the lives of your loved ones. If you believe in prayer.....Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I deal with this issue and do "tough love" like I've never done before to try to wake him up. Today I am grateful that no matter what storm in life we are going through that we are NEVER alone....God is always beside us helping us through the tough times. Grateful for my family, friends, my WLS and my bariatric surgeon and his amazing staff. Grateful for my faith in God and for answered prayer. Grateful for the holiday's although they aren't going to be great this year but I will make the best of it for my precious 2 yr. old granddaughter. Grateful for my precious granddaughter and for her sister who is still cooking in the oven. Grateful for OH which has been part of my daily life now for over 10 yrs. Grateful for everyone *****ads my post whether you reply or not. You are SPECIAL !!! Please share if you will what you are grateful for today and have a blessed day.
