Let me recommend my surgeon. He is Dr. David D. Kim. He is in Colleyville not Southlake but not that far of a drive. He has a monthly support group for his patients, we have our OWN online Facebook page for added support. He has a amazing staff and has very successful patients. I am 8 yrs. post op RNY myself. He has wonderful after care for ALL of his patients no matter what surgery you have done. His office number is 817-581-6100. I very highly recommend him.

Good Monday Everyone,
Well...we made it through Thanksgiving. I am SO grateful for that. We ALL have something to be grateful for everyday of our lives no matter how bad or good things are going with us. Today I am grateful to have opened my eyes, have been blessed with another day to make ( hopefully great choices ). Grateful for my family, friends, my faith in God, the holidays, my WLS and all the choices of WLS, Support Groups, and Obesity Help that has been here for me my entire journey. I believe I've been on OH for 9 yrs. now. Grateful for every experience that I have gone on my WL journey....I know that any hardship that I have gone through i can share with others to hopefully make things easier for them. Just so Grateful period this time of year. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today. Have a blessed monday.

Good morning! Off to work I go. My 4 days off just flew by. Plenty to keep me busy at work even though it's our 1 no patient day.
hubby returns to work today after his hernia surgery and 2 weeks recuperation. I am sure he is ready to go. He will be home to go on Christmas vacation in less than 3 weeks. We are all looking forward to getting away to a tropical setting.

Hi there! I am new to this forum, and looking to find a good surgeon and nutritionist for a VSG surgery in Southlake, TX. I would very much appreciate your advice in this regard, and sharing the experiences that you had with the bariatric surgeons/NUTs in this area. I am particularly interested in the care and support that you received from the NUT or surgeon's team before and after the surgery, because from what I understood by reading this forum, this is a very important aspect of a successful surgery.

Today's support group will not be meeting at Carroll Watkins Driving School. Instead we will meet at the Jack in the Box at the corner of N. Main and Golden Triangle Blvd. It is about a block or less south of the driving school. Sorry for the inconvenience. We have met there a couple of times before. If your new....if you are coming from 820 going north. Golden Triangle is the same as 1709. Jack in the Box is inside I believe a Shell gas station. Please don't let this stop you from coming to the meeting. I have some cookie and other holiday recipes to share with you. Hope to see you there. The address for it is 101 N. Main St. Keller 76248. Meeting is from 3:30 - 4:30.

What was incorrect about your out of pocket costs? Nicholson Clinic is out of network for me. But I was told that after an initial pymt. of $750 to the hospital, they would take whatever my ins. pd. as pymt. Did you have a similar experience?
