off to another busy day at work today. Glad I am off e next three days, and happier that I will have 2 weeks off starting next Thursday evening. I haven't had more than a four day break in a year.

The big, big boss from TJJD was in Corsicana yesterday but did not padlock the front gate. Jan is wishing they would go a head and close it down before Christmas or at least finally give them a firm date for the closing. Can't plan too far a head when you're in limbo.

Not much going on in my world today. Work...trip in was slow again this morning. The only ice I saw was in the HOV lane, but all 4 lanes HAD to slow down for it ??? I just made appt. for the fur baby to go to groomer on Sat. I'm going to try and finish my Christmas shopping this weekend...Sister & family are dropping by on their way to San Antonio tomorrow morning. So need to go home and straighten up some tonight. Dinner out, cause I'm not cooking!!!

I am off Friday and Monday and plan to get my Christmas shopping done. Need to figure out what to get my Dad who is hard to buy for since he needs nothing. DH and I don't plan to exchange gifts again this year neither one of needs anything so we save money for cruises and gambling trips.
Work top of my agenda today. I got to get a few things done before my 4 day weekend.

Good Hump Day,
Moving right along....that is what the weeks are doing lately toward Christmas. Can't believe it is 2 weeks today till Christmas Day. WOW Ok now subject at hand. We ALL have so very much to be grateful for everyday of our lives. I absolutely LOVE Christmas !!! This is my favorite time of the year....love the reason for celebration ( and I'm not speaking of Santa )....love the lights and music and just everything that goes along with it. I am SO grateful for the Christmas holidays and decorations. Today I am grateful for my family. Grateful for my Daughter In Law who is 26 yrs. old today. Most Grateful for my 16 month old granddaughter. She is the light of my life and grateful of course for my WLS and the maintance over the past 8 yrs. Grateful for all that God has blessed me with in life. Grateful for Obesity Help for sure....this has been part of the life line to success. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today and have a super blessed day.

Two weeks till Christmas! 
I'm not working Friday - I'm shopping. Mom is taken care of. It's brother and the Mrs. I need to work on. Plus what to get for crew at work. Should have kept the souvenir shot glasses from Alaska for Christmas instead of giving them out when we got back.
Council meeting last night was not as antagonistic as I thought it was going to be. No flogging. Another meeting with DA this AM and interviewing a possible suspect in a year and a half old burglary. May not get a case out of it but worth a ride over to the jail.
Bundle up and go forth!
Well, I was stuck at home from Thursday evening till yesterday morning. Ice was really bad in Lewisville. Never even opened the front door to look out! DH was able to clear a path to my car and clean it off some Sunday, so was able to come into work yesterday. I also had a large sheet of ice slid down on my windshield yesterday afternoon. But was lucky enough to a nice man help pu**** off. I hate this cold.. will be so glad when it warms up!!! Work was brutal yesterday, today it's quite at the moment. I've done some of my Christmas shopping online, just waiting for it to be delivered. Guess I'm about half done. Hoping to finish this weekend. Please stay warm and drive safe if you are out and about.

Not wanting to get up this morning. Woke up around 4 and took me a while to go back to sleep.
Went to Addison and got my new work laptop yesterday, roads were pretty clear for most part. Sister picked me up so didn't have to drive
Don't think I have to go back into the office anytime soon I can get back to my normal routine and hopefully get the numbers on the scale down a couple more lbs.

Good Morning Don and TMB Family,
I did manage to get out yesterday for the first time since last thursday. I had to scrape about 3 or more inchs of ice off my windshield, hood and then driving the sheet of ice on top of my CRV decided to "turn loose" and fall down on my windshield and block my view. Thank God I was on a residential street and could pull over. I almost couldn't get it off though it was SO heavy. I can see why on the news they were telling people to remove the ice from the tops of their vehicles before getting on freeways. I KNOW that sheet of ice could probably break out a windshield of another car....I was glad I wasn't going fast when I came down on my windshield. It was good to get out....still LOTS of ice on the roads. I personally can't wait till all this junk is gone. Have a great day everyone and be safe !!! Good luck with your meeting tonight.
