Thanks, Vivian - doctor said it was dehydration and low blood pressure that caused the fainting spells along with loss of fluids. Put me on half amount less diuretic BP meds WHEN systolic # goes up over 140. It was 90/62 this morning, so NO BP meds for right now. YAY!!! Was really hungry when I got back from doctor - hadn't eaten hardly anything in four days due to nausea and loss of fluids. So I ate 1/3 of breakfast burrito. Wrong choice!! So it's back to crackers and Pedialyte for now. Hoping to go back to work tomorrow, but won't if blood pressure still low. Afraid that I might faint again while driving. That would NOT be good.
Okay, enough of my complaining and woes. How are you? How is Sean?
looking forward to hearing back from you......Susie
Don, back to the doc today. Blood pressure still too low. Took me off diuretic/blood pressure combo and put on 1/2 dose blood pressure only med ONLY when systolic # goes up over 140. It was 90 today. Hoping don't have to be on BP meds at all. Thanks for well wishes. I've lost 131 lbs so far, about 40 to go. Not worried so much about number on scale, but just good healthy size. I'm SO pumped with my return of quality of life. Had forgotten what it was like 20 years ago.
Hugs to you Sweet Friend ~ Susie
Good Wednesday Everyone,
Geezzz....this week is going by quickly. LOL Anyway I am grateful for that. We have so much to be grateful for everyday of the week......we should be grateful everyday that God has given us another chance to get things "right" today. LOL Life is definately not easy at times after our WLS. The person who said having WLS was easy I would say never had it done. It's not easy in the least bit. I am SO very grateful for my WLS and all the different surgeries that are available today. Grateful for my WL journey and my support group members....grateful for life itself and for my family, fur babies who love me unconditionally. Grateful for my precious 19 month old granddaughter who is the light of my life. Grateful for my health, faith, answered prayers....grateful for everything that comes my way it is either a blessing or a lesson that I need to learn in life. Grateful for all the things that I can do since my WLS that was only dreams before. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today. Have a blessed day !!!

Hi Susie,
Glad you're doing so well. I knew you would. Praying your doc appointment went well yesterday. Congrats on your upcoming Surgiversary. I think most of us experience some of those issues with the "low blood sugar" that you are experiencing. Hopefully you can get off your blood pressure meds. I've been on some for going on 3 months now. Guess life finally got to me. LOL OH well...when you come back to the area if you want to meet up again let me know. You have a blessed day my friend and good luck.
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Have a head cold and not really wanting to get moving this morning.

There is a "skirt alert" in effect for today! Both for you ladies and any Scotsman in a kilt. Especially for the Scotsman.
Had a City Council meeting last night so missed getting any treadmill time. Not likely to happen tonight either since plan is to go car shopping again. Need to get back on track.
Go do your thing!
Hey Susie - hope you get the BP meds squared away. May be getting too much.
Hi there, Ellamae!
So glad to see your message. And, YES!! Super busy but loving it & enjoying my life, for sure!!!
Home today with low blood pressure, diarrhea, acid reflux plus a crazy cold/cough that has been hanging on for over three weeks. I sound like a broken down yalloppee (sp)?? Aka, that means "old car" if that happens to be a "country bumpkin and/or Texas" term. 😜.
I can't get to my phone during the day because I'm either in the prison (phones/computers not allowed) or driving. When I get home, I'm running errands or just trying to wind down. Being on the computer after hours winds me up, so I try not to do that anymore than I just have to.
I am doing good about mentally keeping track and/or writing down my intake & exercise. My son gave me a Fitbit Force, and I love it. Sure helps spur me on to walk & exercise more. If you don't have one, it's worth the cost.
Okay, gotta go. Doctor's office should be calling anytime now. I'm hoping that the two fainting spells this morning & low blood pressure, it means that I'll get to be completely off my blood pressure meds. I got rid of cholesterol meds early on after surgery.
PS - next month us my year anniversary. Can't believe it's been one year already!! One of the best ones of my life. I'm going to copy & paste this, cause I'm lazy.
Thanks for contacting me, Sweet Friend. Best Wishes, Blessings & Hugs.
