Good morning,
Wow five raccoons, guess they brought the whole family for dinner.
Nothing new in my world, work #1 on my agenda. DH is going to play poker tonight in Rockwall, if he plays two sessions tonight he's automatically in tournament for cash prize. That means I have house to myself tonight and don't have to cook dinner.
Have a great day!

I'll explain why this particular character is making an appearance in this post. DW has a hummingbird feeder and two bird feeders on shepherd hooks in the back yard where we can watch them. The bird feeders were getting emptied faster than what we thought they should be. I'm talking at a rate that the birds would have been waddling and needing WLS. Sunday night we saw one raccoon so brought the bird feeders in. DW yesterday moved the dual shepherd hook that holds them away from the fence and put the feeders back out. Last night we heard something hit one of the rods on the sucker rod fence. Then we heard chatter. Went to look and had FIVE raccoons that had shook one of the bird feeders to the ground and were eating the bird food. Needless to say after several episodes of them returning after we would knock on the window and scare them off interfered with getting to sleep like we normally would.
Enough rambling. Have a department meeting for late this afternoon so that is scheduled highlight for today at work. Managed to catch four miles on treadmill when I got in yesterday.
Have a Great Day if not fake it till you can make it!
Had a good weekend. not much going on today. Work is slow... Cooking dinner tonight.
Hope everyone is having a great day...

Good Monday Everyone,
Hope your ready to start a amazing week. We ALL have so very much to be grateful for everyday of our lives. Life is so much better and easier with a grateful attitude. Today I am grateful for new beginnings and second chances every morning. Grateful for my faith and trust in God, for answered prayers, family and friends, support groups, encouragement from others, compliments about my WL which I still after 8 yrs have problems accepting without the word "but" when I reply to those compliments. LOL Grateful for my life and health and that I've not had any major re-gain of weight. Grateful for my home and all the material things in my life as well. Grateful for Obesity Help and all the support and encouragement and questions answered daily on these message boards. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for and have a great monday.
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Good morning
Back to my normal routine, enjoyed working with the team in Atlanta but glad to be home.
Had a good weekend, went to support group and than lunch with my sister and cousin. Sundsy hit an estate sale and got lots of elfa storage stuff. Now to use them to get organized.
Work and probably a few loads of laundry will be the highlight of my day,
Pleased with the numbers on the scale, stayed in goal range. I would like to be in lower end of goal before cruise in Oct.
Have a great day!

Once you know where you are going, get started. A life of action is almost always happier than a life of procrastination and inaction. Even if you are unsure about what to do next, do the best you can. Make some progress every day, and celebrate even your smallest accomplishments.

Given what happened in Arkansas it is hard for me to be too jocular. Mother Nature spared Texas BIG TIME!
DW is back from Beaumont. Her aunt is not any better.
Did yard work Saturday and still feeling it. Getting old I guess.
Found out why the birdfeeders are emptying out so quickly. Thought about when I was up to use the bathroom looked outside to see a humongous raccoon balanced on the top rail of the fence pigging out. Closed the "buffet" by bringing them inside.
Work and walk again are 1 and 2 on the docket.
Go do your thing.
Self paid. Ex had some dried blood in her stools so held her over for an extra couple of days till that cleared up.
omgosh YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is Dr. Babeneaux and Sylvia I'm referring too! Finally someone who knows! I'm in Frankston, Lake Palestine, about 25 miles from Tyler! I would love to talk more with you! I have found out today that..... No one affliated with Trinity Mother Frances (my choice) accepts Medicaid for Gastric surgery, in fact, not one specialized bariatric surgeon IN ALL OF Texas accepts Medicaid. (Medicaid told me this today) Except for Dr. Babineau, who is ETMC. I found out today that Sylvia can indeed recommend the surgery on her own to Medicaid. The red tape atmosphere of it all has really gotten my excited dampered First I can have the surgery, then no one takes medicaid, etc.
It looks like, if I want the surgery, and need Medicaid to pay for it, I have to use Babineaux. I was very enthusiastic about this until earlier today when I read some really scary reviews about him Here: Reviews of Dr. Babineaux and here: More reviews My best friend tried Babineaux and didn't care for his lack of bedside manner, so she chose someone else. I don't care if he has bedside manner as long as he is safe. Can you tell me of your wifes experience, and were you perhaps using Medicaid? Thanks so much for writing! Karen
