Well, I missed the meeting, but I have a really good excuse--
I had my VSG surgery on Monday!! My mom is staying with me and I'm doing great so far. So happy to be here!
I will probably attend the March meeting, so thanks for the reminder.

There is a WLS group meeting every 4th Monday from 6-7:30 pm at the St. Davids on 32nd street in Austin. The subject tomorrow is about excercise, you should come.

They do have a Bariatric Support Group at Covenant. There are also some Facebook groups for the Lubbock area. Dr. Hannel is who I see local for DS labs and followups. Dr Hannel is located at Grace Clinic. My surgeon was Bo Neichoy at Panhandle Weight Loss in Amarillo.
Not gonna lie.....I like happy hours probably TOO much!! LOL
After WLS, I can eat guac but the queso is off limits for me. :(
