The town where I work has been having major water leak issues too. No fun for those guys at all.
Good morning all. Hope everyone is having a great week. Don, last night at support meeting, was announced that there will be a 1 mile walk at the Carrollton Baylor Oct. 11, 8am. I beleive they said it was in honor of Dr. Kuhn. Thought you might like to check it out. It's part of "Walk against Obesity". My day is off to a good start... already had a couple of customers call in. Hope it continues, I need a good day. DH is off tonight, so we are going out to dinner. Maybe try to do a load of laundry this evening too. Have wonderful day!

Good Hump Day ( wednesday ) everyone,
Hope your week is going well. Mine is so far. We ALL have so very much in our lives to be grateful for everyday day. Even the tiny things we should be grateful for. Today I am most grateful for my family. Especially my 2 yr. old granddaughter. She makes me SO happy just the joy that she displays when she sees me or gets to go do something that she likes. She is my precious angel. Grateful for my hubby who works so hard at his job providing for me and my son that is still at home. Grateful for my WLS and all the weight that I lost and have maintained for the last almost 9 yrs. Grateful for my bariatric surgeon who cares so much for his patients and does what he feels is best even if it means getting into a surgery and deciding not to do it for their health. That means alot that he won't do any surgery without knowing that his patient's life isn't at risk by completing it. Grateful for my health, God and answered prayers. PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today. Have a super blessed wednesday !!!

Water main break in front of shop yesterday. Glad he is closed on Tursday as they totally had entrance blocked with heavy equipment.

Survived City Council Meeting last night. Could have stayed home but opted not to. Not going in to the details in case it falls through but my Chief had gotten a phone call from another agency vetting me that he was not expecting. Awk....ward!
Cross fingers, toes, rub troll dolls, swing a chicken etc for Jan. She has an interview this afternoon for a school nurse gig in Corsicana. Irony is that it is literally just down the street form the Juvenile Justice Center she was laid off from when it closed.
Work is top of the agenda.

Thank you Saundra, Laura was released late yesterday afternoon. She is doing much better. Got a late start this morning, cause I had a dentist appt. Had to get a permenant crown put on. Then here to work. Which again today is slow.. Guess everyone spend all their money on tax-free weekend! Support group meeting in Denton this evening. Hope everyone is having a good day...

The lawn man mowing this morning woke me up, so much for sleeping late. DH gone to clear out unit he got yesterday, it's small so shouldn't take him long. I am going to Kinko's to have flyers printed up for grand opening on Saturday than will head over to shop.
Brenda, hope your friend is better and gets released today.
