UT Southwestern Plastic Surgery

Had anyone used the UT residency clinic(new surgeons learning)? I heard the prices are cheaper than private plastic surgeons because they are learning. How was your experience? How was your results?What was the prices of your surgery? Did they offer insurance as well?? I'm looking into this program but having a hard time finding any reviews.

Hi and congrats on your weight loss. I used to supervise the residents when I was at UT Houston, and the experience can be positive depending on the supervising doctor's level of experience and interest. You may be cared for after by another doctor, as the residents come and go every 2 months or so. Some residents were interested in post WLS plastics, others not. I believe my patient Laura in Texas saw a doc at UT Houston. Check her out on the PS forum.
