Less than a week to go

Started my liquid diet yesterday.  Surgery is 11/20/14 (my birthday).  Who needs cake?  Anyway, excited and nervous.  Doing ok on the liquid diet.  Thank goodness for beef broth and gelatin.  I tried the chicken broth and didn't like it at all.

Anyway, after 3 months of waiting and working glad to be on the downhill slide

Congrats on your upcoming surgery.    I'm sure you'll do great.   Try seasoning the chicken broth.   My surgery was 9 yrs ago and I would do sage and poultry seasoning to the broth to give the flavor of dressing.    That was my favorite.   You will be in my thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery.   Please keep us updated as you progress.
