Good Tuesday Everyone,

The holiday is coming up quickly now.    2 more days till Thanksgiving Day.    As this holiday quickly approaches please remember that this time of the year is not always joyful for everyone.    Their are LOTS of hurting people around the holiday season who this time of year is very painful for them.    So PLEASE try to be kind to everyone at this time.    Today I am grateful for everything and everyone in my life.   I have a son who from now till Christmas every year is in pain due to 6 yrs ago a friend of his commited suicide and then he had another 3 yrs ago overdose on drugs.    I have already seen lots of people withdrawing from Facebook and other websites due to hurting in their hearts and their lives.   The Thanksgiving/ Christmas holidays are MY favorites and it hurts me so much to see my son and many others hurting this time of year.    I am grateful today to be able to see this in these dear sweet people and reach out and be there for them at this painful time in their lives.   Grateful to God that I personally don't feel that way at this time of the year that we should grateful for everyone and everything in our lives but instead we want to withdrawl from society and from family.   Please if you believe in prayer....say a prayer for these people and try to reach out and be a friend to them when you see that they are hurting.    Sorry for this but I feel that this is something that needed to be said today and we ALL should be grateful if we haven't experienced it.    PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today and have a blessed day !!!

I'm grateful for the love of family that my parents instilled in us.  Without my brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews to gather together this Thanksgiving, I think I would be one of the people with a heavy heart, hurting and not wanting to celebrate the holiday season.  I'm also grateful for my Husband,  who has been here for me over the last 32 (almost 33) yrs.  His love for me & my family is so strong.  Praying a special prayer for all in need.

I agree Brenda.   My parents also instilled the love for my family and extended family.   Sometimes the holidays are difficult since both my parents are living in Heaven now.    I miss them so much but I love the holiday's.    I too am extremely grateful for my husband of almost 37 yrs. Have a blessed Thanksgiving Brenda.
