Monday WLX - All Aboard!!
Another week of 100 degree days on the way. We'll be wishing for one of these days if we catch an ice storm in December or January!
Appliances are all in - sort of. Kept getting run around from HD on replacing broken cook top, none in stock, back order etc. Ordered the one we wanted from Sears and be here next week. Spent a bundle of money on new appliances and wind up getting a $30 hot plate from Wal-Mart to cook on! Have to find a finish carpenter to come do some modifications to some of the cabinets. One corner door needs to be hinged to the other side so it will not hit the oven where it is sticking out and the new microwave hangs lower than the old one did. Need to raise the bottom of the cabinet up to get the bottom of the microwave further off of the cook top and so that the tile back splash will look right. Joys of renovation. Trash service is going to love me Wednesday when they see the pile at the end of my driveway.
Back to fighting crime by fighting grime.
Go Forth and keep the beverage of choice handy!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Weekends are just too short.
Don, sounds like you got a lot done. I am sure you will be glad when it is finished.
I am up early today. Boss is in town this week so going into office to hook up with her, she will be in meetings rest of the week so should be only day I have to go in. Her flight gets in at noon so going to wait till after rush hour to drive in.
Have a great day!

Good Morning Don, Saundra and TMB Family,
Today is my granddaughter's first birthday !! She's not walking yet but getting close. Can't believe Tigerlily is a year old already. My weekend was just weird. When I left church yesterday my middle son called and said he had gotten mugged leaving work. Someone let the air out of his tire and he bent down to look at it and got whacked on the head and knocked out. HE woke up to 2 guys standing over him going through his wallet. He knocked it from their hands and they got away with $7 ( that's all the money he had ). UGH His job is going to check security camera ( hope they can see license # ), My son had to have 10 stitches in his ear. UGH I feel so bad for him...he seems to have a black cloud following him around. My support group meeting was yesterday and it went good....had a small group but always do during the summer months. Don....glad you're getting things done finally....hope you get the cooktop soon and good luck on finding a carpenter.
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Well, I made it OKLA and back. Was wiped out by the time I got home! Spend most of my time at the Nursing Home with Dad. He wasn't doing too good. Was pretty worried about him. Hated to leave. Did a little cleaning at my brother's house, since Sister-in-Law still can't do much. Needless to say I was in bed early last night! Not much going on at work. Today starts a new month for me, so hopefully things with pick up this afternoon.
