Day after July 4th Friday WLX!
Would like to still be in the rack but alas I have other obligations this morning. Work is such a pesky thing and interferes so much in life. If you are off today, or took it off, enjoy it.
Not much 7/4 celebrating here. Will do that tomorrow at brother's house. Can watch vintage aircraft show over the lake from there and he's good with the grill.
Get your coffee and get your act together for today.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Work is on the agenda since I did not take the day off but lot of folks did so should be a quite day so I can get some work done.
Was a lazy day for us yesterday, did go to Lockhart Smokehouse in the Bishop Art District for some BBQ and the brisket was awesome.
No set plans for the weekend.
Have a great day!

Good afternoon, family! I didn't do anything special yesterday..didn't even see a SINGLE firework (except on TV)...is this what it's like to be getting OLD??? I remember my grandparents being like this...Bad thing is: I LIKE IT !!! I stayed in my footy Mickey Pjs until probably 2pm, just hanging out...Madi and her parents came over, and Madi went straight to my bed...she used to she and I taking a nap, after work, so guess she figured it was naptime...so she and GiGi took a 2 hour nap!
I worked today, but only 6 hrs, which was more hrs than anyone else scored...not many kids there today. I hope to work on my closet some more this evening and tomorrow. I'm trying to get stuff to Peggy Smith for her store (Back to the Rack, in Arlington). Sunday I'm making a quick road trip to Austin for my nephew, Ayden's birthday party-2 yrs old already...
Hope everyone has a great "rest of the day" !!

Crap..you know..I worked yesterday, so I just plum forgot a holiday happened on Thursday...Madi is hacking up a lung, and running a fever, this morning, so I'm pretty much thinking we are staying horizontal tomorrow--even before my good friend, Officer Don, cinched it for me !!!!
