Weekend WLS Express
Good morning, my TMB family! This morning I feel EXACYLY like one of those gripey, whiney people that I used to grit my teeth, and sit on my fingers (to avoid typing a snarky remark) when I'd read their everyday/everyday/everyday post....Bear with me TODAY, family, but I do this TOO OFTEN, feel free to reach thru the screen/smack me/ground me from the computer/whatever means necessary..
But...danggit...I just HURT today..all over...it HAS to be from the "fight with the worm"...I'm just not as resilient, as I thought as I was...Gravity WON...My chest wall thing, from my LAST "gravity dance" AKA fall, was 99% healed, and so far it is staying pretty quiet...I'd probably slit my throat if it rared up again..Now the pain has landed in EVERY stinking muscle, and in both sciatic nerves...CRAP CRAP CRAP...I honestly am not sure whether to ice myself/heat myself/try to work soreness out/rest the body parts so they can heal.....sheesh...And YES, of course it has and led up to a HEADACHE..how could it NOT?!?!? Ok...enough of me me me me me...It's not cancer, and it won't last forever...but it hurts..sniff..sniff.... :( So glad I have y'all to vent to....
Guess I won't be going too much of anywhere today. I HAD planned to work on weeding my closet, and hopefully will still be doing at least some of that, since I already started, and my bedroom has that "Post tornado look"...I have the keep/throw away/donate totes ready, but I kept putting TOO MUCH stuff in the "keep" tote...it's so hard to get rid of "special" stuff-esp if someone gave it to ME..I miss the days of OH conference, and Clothing Exchanges. I LOVED seeing my clothes showing up, on other peeps, on Day 2-knowing they were going to good homes, and I always got some great stuff, to take home myself...which explains the afore mentioned hurricane!
Not sure what all I'll do tomorrow. TRACEY ad I usually spend our Sunday afternoons together-our scheduled "BFF time", but she's gone to Tn, on a family vacation...
Hope each of you get to so at least ONE thing you really, really want to do today!!!!

We Can Do Hard Things
Gravity always wins! Look at our sagging skin, bags under eyes etc. Okay, BOOBS! There I said it!!
Taking the grandkids to the water park near Tyler. After yesterday need the change. Court hearing was avoided with some lawyer wrangling but the female got PR'ed out. Jan was told yesterday, as well as all of Corsicana, that the Juvenile Justice facility she works at is the one they are closing as of Oct 31. Lots of jobs going swoosh! The job hunt is already started.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
DON-please tell JAN I'm so sorry about her facility closing. That happened to me, years ago, when they downsized the number of State Schools. Mexia was chosen to close. but then Gov. Ann Richards had grown up in Mexia, and was afraid since Mexia SS was one of the main employers there, the town would dry up, so she pushed to close Ft Worth SS instead...freakin' politics... :) some of those poor folks had been roommates/dormmates since the beginning (16 yrs) and were split up, willy nilly..broke my heart..
Anyhoo..kinda got way off track there..imagine THAT...no doubt there is a BETTER job waiting for Jan, and hopefully there will be a severance pkg, so she can have a "cushion", while she looks for a new job...Besides: with your HUGE salary, I know she is just working to fill the hours of the day-RIGHT?!?!

Gina, so sorry to hear about Richards mom passing away. Hope you get better from your fall soon.
Don, hope the little woman finds a new job soon.
I got a new Internet provider and had to switch my email, so I will spend time switching my email on accounts so I can cut off my old Internet. Lve the faster stuff!
Probably doing some weeding/ weed eating / and watering later in the day. It needs it.
Have a good day.

KARLA-I passed on you sympathies to Richard. He has been blown away by how sweet everyone has been. I'm not sure WHY he is surprised. He has been around long enough to know what kind of peeps y'all are!! He's not one to admit he has "feelings"-not even to me-but I have caught him being very sad a time, or two, this past week

We Can Do Hard Things
Happy SUNDAY morning! I am feeling lots better today...I worked on weeding out my closet, yesterday, then scrubbed my bathroom floor (Cinderella style-hands and knees), and then did some dancing last night...I had decided I could keep on whining, or I could be more proactive and really TRY to get that soreness worked out...I'm not 100%, but I can get up and down, and walk without moaning like I'm about to take my final breath...
I went to high school reunion thing last night, for various classes. I think me and my classmates were the oldest ones there-but we held our own against those "youngsters"-THEY looked OLD-our guys had lots more hair, at least! At least I had the youngest "date"-my son, Corbin..Richard didn't feel like going, and Corbin was happy to step in..
What are your plans for today? I'm going to visit Loralea, then get come home, and get stuff prepared, for my week. I'm sunk, if I don't prepare in advance..
Hope everyone has a truly FAB-U-LOUS day..and Fabulous is my highest rating!

We Can Do Hard Things
Got up and went to SS then out to breakfast with DH. Yesterday morning went with DH to take stuff to auction in Fruitvale and them made stops at a flea market and Ham Orchard in Terrell on the back. We drove back for the auction and it sure was hot. Glad what he sold was more then we spent and bonus was the items he sold took up lots if room in garage so worth the trip but I sure am tired today.
Need to go to grocery store sometime today but thinking a nap might be on the top of my to do list today.
