Please Help!!!

Hi, My name is Nokwanda i'm 27 and After having WLS back in 2009 then having 2 C-sections that resulted in 3 beautiful babies (my 1st were a set of twins a boy and girl ;) then another girl ) I'm left with all the aftermath extra hanging skin in need of some serious lifts and stuff lol. I just started my search I made an appt back in Nov 2012 for March I went was super excited for them to tell me the surgeon was out of my network and would cost $6000 out of pocket for just  a tummy tuck. So I called a surgeon I was told was in network and accepted my insurance and was told they consider it to be all cosmetic so they don't take any insurance no matter what. Do anyone have any useful info on this maybe a surgeon you was able to go to that accepts insurance and is really GOOD I don't want any ol body cutting on me. I was to live after this and happy with my body lol. Thanks to all the info in advance

I don't really know of any insurance that will pay for cosmetic surgery, but you might try asking this on the Plastic Surgery Forum here. Good luck to you, my friend!

Look at dr lyos website. I had an lbl consult, and he files with insuance for the tummy tuck part. Mine would not cober lbl. Call different offices and ask. Also dr mentz and dr petronella. They are in the same office

Lots brag on Dr. Lamonaco in Houston but that all I have is a name.  Same goes for Dr. Saucedo in Monterey, Mexico.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Dr. Gordley is in Conroe or The Woodlands and does a good job. dr. Davis Wainwright is with UT Physicians in Houston. I don't know about insurance coverage. I k ow very few people who had insurance coverage and in those cases were arms (brachioplasty) or panni removal only,no tummy tuck. I had a lbl and brachioplasty and breast lift and had to pay for the two surgeries out of pocket costing about $23,000or more. That was with Dr. wainwright. LaMonaco is good too. He charges a lot more for the same procedures.

Wow! Ms.Karla that is a lot of money for me lol I'm getting so discouraged I wish I would have known this a long time ago I would have been trying to save up some money or something. Seems like I'm stuck... I will just have to hit the gum harder and see what results I can get and just live with it. Thanks so much for that info.

I had Dr.  Wainwright.  He was a good surgeon and they will try to get you approved.  I was approved for my tummy tuck but not my breast reduction.  I wrote an appeal and sent back in and they  approved it.

Don't be discouraged there are loop holes.  You just have to be your own advocate and fight for you want.
