Okay, I'm in Plano with my daughter and Grandkids again and realized that my surgery date is just one month from yesterday!! I'm getting excited AND nervous. The last time I posted on OH, I saw a post on DS Forum where a lady (I think also using Dr. Stewart and who is about 7 months out) is in the hospital for the second time in the last two-three weeks with severe abdominal pain. I just replied to her most recent post wishing her a speedy recovery. I'm sure she'd appreciate your prayers - A.C. Is her username.

Just sent an email to Dr. Stewart's office to get all the info I can on everything that I will need to take with me for my hospital & hotel stay in Dallas post op before I travel back to Lubbock. Thanks for any and all input you can think of.

Blessings.....Susie

Hi Susie,

Hope that seeing A.C.is having abdominal pain issues doesn't scare you.     Everyone I know how has had DS and did as they were told were very successful at pulling off their weight.   I do know at least one person who gained all their weight back with DS though.    But then you hear that with ALL the different surgeries.    Hope you are enjoying those precious grandbabies.   Let me know if you still want to get together while you are still in the area.    Your surgery will be here before you know it.    How much longer are you going to be in the area?   I forgot what you said.   Have a great day and hope you were prepared for our "crazy weather" weather here.   Have a blessed day.

Hey Vivian ~ Thank you, too, for the encouragement and reassurance about WLS. This is my last day to be in Plano. I fly out in the morning. It seems like every time I'm here, I plan on and have the best intentions to be sure and call you (and Brenda from Lewisville), but I never seem to have enough time to get it done. And, I just HATE that, but it's just the way it is when you have two little ones to to help with and play with. I REALLY wanted to meet you before I have surgery, but it looks like its probably NOT going to happen (sigh).

As far as AC's situation, I'd be lying if I said it didn't scare me a little bit. I guess I have the same worries that I'm sure everyone has prior to WLS of any sort. And, yes, I did pack for this crazy weather. It's pretty much the same way at home. I've got the almost three year old grandson, Grayson, taking a nap, or at least laying down I guess I should say :(. While his mama and 7 week old baby sister are in the next room, trying to take a nap. I'll try and message you with itinerary for my next Dallas trips.

God's Richest Blessings to you, Sweet Friend..................Susie

Susie...don't worry about not getting together.  I totally understand.   You're here to help out your daughter not socialize.  LOL  Where are you going to have your WLS?   Is it going to be in Denton or at a different facility where Dr. Stewart does surgery?    Maybe I can come and see you in the hospital.    Although I hate driving to Dallas and areas that are over that way.  LOL   Sometimes my GPS looses "it's way" LOL   I mean gets me lost...when I am already somewhere I have no idea where I'm bad it can be bad.  LOL  Oh well...that's life.    LOL   Have a safe flight home and just think.....less than a month now till your NEW journey begins.   It's going to be a AMAZING one !!!  talk to you soon my friend.
