Monday WLS Express
Once again Monday is here to welcome us to another work week.
Trip to Conroe was good. Kids had fun on the ponies. Multi-colored layer cake and small scoop of ice cream caused me to have a MAJOR dumping episode. Escalated heart rate alone had me wigging out. Jan had to drive because she was afraid I'd wreck us out. Contraption (scales) were not nice to me this morning either.
Working early then have to boogie to a dental appointment. Need to make a brief stop, or two, while I'm alone to find some Valentine's goodies for Jan too.
Go Forth and be happy we are not digging out from under all the snow they caught in the Northeast!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Went to Shreveport this weekend, came home with less money and lots of beads.
Scale was a tad up this morning but no surprise with eating out for three days. I am still on the lower side of my goal range so I can't complain.
Today it's back to reality with work and laundry on my agenda.
Have a great day!

Went down to Austin Saturday with family for my wife to attend a work meeting. It was a bad idea for me to drive half down I had to have my wife take over driving. While the wife was at the meeting got the children some lunch and decided to rest. Then on the way back to Dallas I felt strange pulled off and ate a protein bar had the wife drive again for a little bit then I took back over. Needless to say a 3 hour drive took 5 hours because I had to switch out with the wife a couple of more times. Needless to say going to call the doctor's office this morning about the low blood sugar issue and see if we can get it under control. Been following the doctor's order which has me frustrated because I am still have bad low blood sugar episodes.

Praying for you Michael....you have ME worried now with your posts. PLEASE insist on your doctor getting you in today and checking you out. It's too late when your out in your car driving without your wife and you pass out. This is not anything to mess around with. Praying your doctor can figure out what to do to resolve this issue and praying it is nothing more than what the doctor thinks.

I see the doctor this afternoon believe me my wife is extremely concern because of what happened Saturday alone. I have never needed her to take over driving for me before except after driving more than 20 hours and that was nearly 13 years ago. I am currently using 3 different brands of protein bars (2 of the brands have 10 grams of protein and then one has 21 grams of protein) I eat at least one 10 gram bar a day and 1 21 gram bar a day on top of the Greek yogurt I eat as well which is 2 6 oz containers with 12 grams of protein each. I believe I need get a glucose monitor so that I can monitor blood sugar daily and make necessary corrections to prevent extremely low blood sugar levels but I also need to something in place to handle when blood sugar is extremely low. As everyone knows you can go into a coma as result of blood sugar being to low and that is what has my wife worried. We know of one time for sure I have past out in the bast 6-8 months which we now believe may have been the result of low blood sugar. I believe I came close on Saturday as well, I am glad I was made aware that I do have hypoglycemia so I can be more alert about potential problem and my wife can watch me more closely. As I am typing this post I am a little light headed but I also just ate a protein bar 10 grams of protein. I may need to buy some protein powder to help fortify some of the other thing I routinely like eat like oatmeal and cream of wheat. While on vacation I found out Kellogs makes a protein dry cereal that I also eat sometimes.
I will keep everyone posted as to what is going on and how I am doing. My main thing is to prevent the possibility of being hospitalized.

Praying for you Michael. I am SO glad that your wife is pushing you and I know how thrilled you men are about going to the doctor. LOL I know I personally have to threaten my hubby to get him there. Praying that you walk away today from the doctor office will more answers and more than that solutions as to how to correct these issues. I am very concerned for you myself. Please keep us all updated.

Morning TMB Family,
Prayers going out for Michael that he will find the answers to what's going on with him. I FINALLY got to see my granddaughter last night after almost 6 weeks. OMG....she has 2 teeth ( almost 4 ) through and NO ONE even bothered to tell me. She is almost sitting alone. My heart ached when I left last night over how I had been treated. Tigerlily LOVED it because I brought her about 4 Valentine stuffed toys and 2 sets of clothes and a new pair of New Balance Tennis Shoes. I'm going to try to post a photo I took of her IF my computer will cooperate or I figure it out. LOL Not much on my agenda today but clean my dirty house and laundry from the weekend. Have a blessed day.
