i am alive and well almost 2 weeks post op.  it was a long revision surgery with a small hernia repair and lap band scar tissue removal and I am so glad it is behind me.  Tomorrow I start soft foods so things are progressing.  I am still sorting out the water, protein and ect as it is kind of confusing but I am plowing forward.  Hope all goes well with your DS.  That is a big one for sure with lof vitamin supplementation following.  Best wishes with it.  Sounds like you really want to make it work so it will.

I'm in the Houston area as well and am 5 weeks post-op.  My surgery didn't go quite as planned because I had a leak and had to back to surgery a second time. But I'm feeling really good now, and I know you will too with a little time. Good luck!
