Sitting in Bariatric Surgeons office in San Antonio

Hi.... I'm bored. I'm still in San Antonio with my niece. Since we are 5 hrs. from home we are trying to do as much as possible today. We've had Dr. consult, EKG, & she's meeting with nutritionalist for her 1st of 6 months of visits. She's looking at a July surgery date. She's going to get the sleeve. I'm excited for her.

I'm excited for her, and it's wonderful that she has such an inspiring vet, right there in her own family...Will you be going with her on her monthly nutrition visits? I know you are used that "windshield time" to SA, so you can make it an especially fun time...Aunts are SUCH special people! I've always been a better aunt than I'll ever be as a mother..

I'm not sure about going every month.  Her sister drove there and her car killed my back side...not padding in the seat.  UGH I sat in the doctors office from 12:45 till 5 PM.    She did meet with the patient advocate 2 X's and had her first visit with their dietian.   Then they had to stop and shop in San Marcos.....I would have rather came home since the bed at the hotel we stayed at was like sleeping on a rock.  LOL   But the riverwalk  was amazing as always.     I may go some with them but I'm sure not every month.
