Finally Friday WLS Express - ALL ABOARD!!

Funny how a phone call from your Boss can change your plans. Mine called me last night about the time I was getting done on the treadmill asking if I could work today instead of tomorrow.  Had to rearrange a few things but I can still manage to get the shopping part done Saturday while Jan is still gone.

TGIF, my TMB family! Sorry to have been MIA this week. The laptop has been in the hospital again..seriously need another, but not in the cards for a few more months..I still can't figure out how to get the TMB on my phone, despite the "tech improvements"..

Been a bit of a tough week..migraine knocked me out for a day and a half (but I still know today is FRIDAY !!)..work schedule has been very...ummm..flexible, due to kiddos being out sick, and having to move classes around to meet ratios, etc..all part of the business...

Monday was tough..in a personal, weird way...I went to the DMV and Social Security offcie and got my last name legally changed. My last name had been Robinson for THIRTY-ONE years..that's a way long time..since I was 24 yrs old..it feels like I killed someone..I got my first "official" mail yesterday-my new voter registration card...Richard was thrilled..I did this name change thing for him..I'll get used to it..but it's hard, for now...

Going to Austin, in the AM, to see my family (well..the short peeps-17 month ols Ayden and 15 month old Emma, but their parents will probably be there too)..then hurry back Sunday, for a blood sister Christmas lunch. then to the WLS peeps dinner..

DON-I looked at all the trains for the week-LOVE LOVE LOVE them !!!!

I am off today but have a full day planned.  Have doctors appointment this morning and will learn results of parathyroid scan I had last week, then plan to get hair cut and then start my Christmas shopping.

Tonight dinner out with DH.

This weekend will be spent doing more shopping and  hopefully I will get it all done. The big kids get gift cards so only have to buy for the children and pick up a couple of presents for gift exchange game. 

Sunday is church and trip to grocery store.     

Should be broke by Monday.

Work work and work today. Tomorrow, is the holiday cookie decorating class with my daughter (she's SUPER excited, it should be a lot of fun too). Then we'll likely head out to dinner as a family and go look at Christmas lights (the Gangham Style house is a "must see" on their list this year). Sunday is my daughter's violin recital.

At some point, I need to wrap presents and put under the tree and hubby needs to decorate the yard. We're slackers this year.

I love the "train" that to me looks like a airplane this AM.   LOL  It's too cute.   Thank you for posting these Don...they are too cute.   I went to my bariatric surgeon's Christmas party for his patients last night.   It was SO much fun as it always is.    I'm looking forward to the Sunday Evening Christmas party too Gina.   Congrats on getting your name changed too.    I remember ( although it was a LONG time ago ) what a hassle it was doing that.     Sorry you've been under the weather this week.   Hope you feel better real soon.    I've got to call my DIL and see if WE can take Miss Tigerlily to see Santa and get her picture made since my son said they can't afford to do it.    I guess Grandma will LOL.    I have a fairly laid back weekend planned.  My tree is up.. decorations up....gifts under the tree and just waiting for the fat man to make his appearances.  LOL    Hope everyone gets all their shopping done and has a great weekend.   I've been thinking about all the baking I have to do and thank GOD it will NOT stay at my house !!!   Have a great one everyone.

Good morning. I am off today. Making my Christmas trash and sand tarts today, then have to get ready and meet a prospective dentist for my office this afternoons with my sister and BIL. need to do my nails before then too. Busy day OFF!

So glad today is Friday!  Had busy morning at work this morning.  So, here it is almost 2:30pm and I'm just getting the chance to jump on.  Not much else new here.  Dinner out today with DH.  Christmas shopping tomorrow.  Then a Christmas party at Church Sat. evening.  Always, a lot of fun. OH, I did get 1 of my dogs groomed last night, so hopefully, will do the other one later tonight. (need DH's help with her.  She doesn't like grooming blades & doesn't like to her feet trimmed).  Everyone have a wonderful weekend!
