I am so sorry for your loss. I think that many of us do not check this board much anymore.

I hope you find a good support group. That was a big help to my mom when my dad passed away. She was also on antidepressants for a while. Find something that works for you.

Take care of your own health. Your husband would want that for you.

Stage 4, Non small cell lung cancer (adenocarcinoma......). Can't operate, can't blast with radiation. Chemo and hopefulyl remission is the best they can offer. I don't know how many times I asked isn't there someway you can check to see if he has cancer SOMEWHERE! They tapped his left lung but didn't feel the right lung was necessary. "It would just fill back up again"! The right lung is where it started and if they had done it then, we would've had 6 months of treatment!!! His doc was too busy chasing Lupus even though he only had 3 out of 11 markers and then they came and went at that.

On April 28th, after a horrible year of illness and basically ending up an invalid, my husband and the best friend I ever had was taken by Lung Cancer and COPD. While thankfully he is at peace and no longer suffering, I am lost.........
