Good Morning Gina and TMB Family,

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday.   I am over at Tigerlily's home & going to babysit her when she wakes up.   I got about 3 hours sleep last night and did a little black friday ( early ...last night ) at Target.    I got up this AM and headed to Home Depot and got some shopping done there as well and then came to my son and DIL's house.    They are going to move the rest of their things over to their house today.    I have vacumed the den and cleaned my DIL's kitchen up waiting for my precious Angel to wake up.   She's still asleep.    Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and will be safe shopping.

I guess DON is either shopping, or arresting the peeps who are "pocket shopping". I saw a thing, on the news, the other day, how shoplifting will be up 45% (or something like that), due the economic times this Christmas. Things will be extra lean around here, but not lean enough to steal-I promise !!! Things have been lean plenty of times before, and somehow it always works out. I used to really sweat it, when my boys were little (one year I even had to put them ON the angel tree-I was mortified), but now I always TAKE 2 angels from the tree-no matter what. My boys are men now, and understand..

Hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday, wherever you were. We went to my sister's house, where we always go. VIVIAN"S pumpkin mousse-double batch-got all scarfed up-while the heavy desserts were barely touched..so, of course, some of those evil desserts made their way to my house, and into my mouth at 2am..WTH..I make myself so mad...

No Black Friday for me, except online...I'm not tough enough for the stores and the crowds..I don't need anything that badly..I have alot of craft gifts I need to work on here, so guess I had better get with it..

Gina....I made a fruit salad ( among other goodies ) and took to my sisters.   I'm giving my family SO long to eat up the junk food before it got chunked.   I am SO very proud of myself.   I didn't touch anything sweet other than my fruit salad yesterday.    I'm trying really hard to get this darn re-gain off.   I am 13 lbs. down as of yesterday.     Hope it keeps going downward.   I am determined it is coming off of me this time.   LOL    Glad your pumpkin mouse was a hit.    I made it for my support group a couple of weeks ago so I didn't make it yesterday.  My youngest son Caleb LOVES it.    In fact he ate all that I brought home from my meeting.    I love it when they like healthy things like that.   I did brave the wind and crowds last night and early this AM to do some shopping.    Good luck on your crafts and have a blessed day my sweet friend.

Not out hooking up bad guys or bargains today.  Been on the road most of morning/day and just made it back to the Ponderosa.  Cooling my heels before I go get the mail and the mutt.  Taking the grandkids to one of the two drive through Xmas light parks in the area.  One is in Athens and the other is in Tyler and that is tomorrow night.  I do have to work tomorrow though.  Highway and byways are plumb full of folks that must be craving to have their driving "awarded".   Large numbers of targets of opportunity.
