Short week - Monday WLS Express!!

ALL ABOARD!!

With Thanksgiving this week we best upgrade our mode of transportation!!  Afraid we're going to run out of daylight and diesel before we get done what we want to do before then.

Gun show in Mesquite was a bust for what I was looking for.  Did check out the Garden Ridge Pottery and came away with a few things.  Same at the Bass Pro Shop in Rockwall. 

Jan got the tree up after we got home.  Had to get it out so grandkids could help decorate next weekend when we have them again.  They'll like the  8' inflatable Santa in the front yard too.

Short workday since I have to wait on the DirecTV person after lunch.

Had a productive weekend.  Thanksgiving grocery shopping done plus got some cleaning done as well. 

Work and cleaning is on my agenda today, should be quite since a lot of folks take this week off.

AT&T should be out today to fix phone jack.  They were out last week and cut line that was causing static not realizing it cut off my work line.

I too, will have a short week. I won't get paid, in money, for being off Thursday and Friday, but will be paid in TIME, and I can sure use THAT, as I never seem to have enough of THAT. The totes of Christmas decorations are STILL in the garage, having never made it to attic, from LAST Christmas, so I plan to do my decorating on Friday. I just REFUSE to do it before Thanksgiving. I used to refuse to do it before Chris's birthday-the 29th-because I thought it cheated him, and didn't want Christmas decorations in the background of his bday party pics, but he will be 21 this year, so Ninja Turtle and Power Ranger parties Bday parties are pretty much a thing of the past...

Today's agenda is work-which continues to be enjoyable-I even missed those little stinkers this weekend-then hopefully off in time dor fingernail therapy, They look worse than I EVER let them get. The gorilla glue I crafted with yesterday didn't help..my fingertips feel like tree bark...

I've bought some of the things I need for my Thanksgiving dinner but still have LOTS to get.   I did tell my family that since I am watching what I eat this year ( I refuse to say I am dieting which I kinda am ) that the desserts this year will be limited to only a couple instead of a ton.    The temptation is just too much for my pouch and my ( non-waist line ) to bare.   I am usually the only one who eats most of them anyway ( that was really hard to adimit too ) and with stress really getting to me big time these days...just can't handle it.   In fact my youngest son's GF has requested a chocolate pie.   I am going to contact her today and tell her if I make it she has to take it home with her Thanksgiving night.    That thing is NOT going to be here looking and tempting me to eat it.   LOL   I've lost 10 lbs in a little over 2 weeks.   But as I said that stress is getting to me so much I passed out on friday night and I was home alone when it happened.   That has NEVER happened to me before and really shook me up.   So I put my foot down to my family and I won't take anything off anyone anymore.   SO watch out....the B is out.   LOL    No....I'm not mean just not taking crap anymore from anyone.   Keep me in your prayers that I stay calm over the Thanksgiving holiday's.    Have a blessed day !!

Well, here it is almost 3pm and I'm just now jumping on the train!  Wow, work has been crazy today.  Finishing up my lunch break and then it's back to the phone.  Heard my boss is coming by later, so guess I better stay off the WEB incase he walks in!  Weekend was great.  Spend time with my DH..Went to the dollar movies Sat night saw "The Odd Life of Timothy Green", we really enjoyed it.  Church yesterday-- morning and evening.  Our church had Thanksgiving dinner last night.  No cleaning got done, so I have to do some tonight, cause my niece will be here tomorrow from college for the holiday.  Everyone have a great evening!
