Friday WLS Express

Finally it is!!  Split weekend since Jan is working this weekend as well so both off today.  Have to boogie.  She has Dr. appointment and we have some running to do afterwards.

Gina....I don't gamble big ( .30 max is all I will do ).    LOL   I am not a gambler at all.   I didn't get to do most of the things I wanted to do since it was just my hubby, my middle son and myself that went.    Neither guy wanted to run the strip with me and sight see.   UGH Let's just say it was a horrible vacation for me.    We stayed at the Stratsosphire.   It was OK.   I will try to post a photo from their obeservation deck of the strip at night.   I did go see two shows while in Vegas.  It's really no big deal that I didn't get to go do the things I do every year on our trip to Vegas.   Not like I've never seen the free sights.     I'm glad to be back home.    Lots of literally crazy people running around Vegas and on the bus people were mummbling crap that made no sense to me at all.   Glad I don't live there.   The weather was decent but they were dropping by 30 degrees today.   No place like home and I'm so glad to be back.    Hope you have a great weekend.   I missed ya'll.

VIV-sorry the vacation didn't go as planned/anticipated. The observation deck sounds nice, though.

I have an aunt who lives in Vegas. The only time she goes to the Strip or Downtown, is when "company" comes..kinda like me and the Stockyards..I haven't even been inside Cowboy Stadium yet..guess I'm waiting for "company" to come..lol

Hey Gina....it's OK at least I got to get away too bad the "problems" didn't stay home also.   LOL  I am the same way.  I rarely ever go to the Stockyards or water gardens downtown.   I have never been in Cowboy stadium ( this one I have old one in Irving ) NOR have I gone to the Ballpark in Arlington either....so guess I'm worse than you in that instance.  LOL

Jumping on late was suppose to be off today since could nor take Tuesday but issues at work didn't allow that to happen. Will try next Friday. Having dinner with friends tonight.

Viv, sorry you vacation didn't go as planned. I am a gambler and love playing video poker and roulette.

Man, what a few weeks I've had. Today was day two of a virtual conference and between that, kid stuff and just generally being crazy, I've never been so glad to see a Friday evening in my life.

We watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off with our kids, ordered pizza (toppings for me!) and had ice cream (Skinny Cow for me LOL) and just chilled out. Was nice to just "be" for a while.

Tomorrow evening, I'm going to kick my husband's butt at car racing at K1 Speed.
