ALL ABOARD!!

It is FINALLY FRIDAY!!  Split weekend but no big deal since Jan and friend from Conroe doing First Monday tomorrow.  Bad part is before I can do my rat killin' for today I've got to go by the office and get a paycheck.  That will be taking me the opposite direction of where I need to be going.  The City has heard of Direct Deposit but is not interested in using it. 

Other than what I need to do errand wise Jan has left me a "to do" list for today.  Since she has company coming I have to make up the bed, clean the bathroom and call about bundling my landline and DirecTV.  She has been after me for six months on the last one!

Enjoy your ball games, I see the Aggies will be in Starkville , your grandkids, spouses, food, fun and friends.  Be safe.  Want to see all y'all Monday!

Good Morning Don and TMB.

I guess everyone is super busy.   I know for me personally it will be a very busy weekend.   I have my support group on sunday and on monday I leave for Las Vegas.   WOO HOO....so ready to get out of town.   LOL   Yesterday was SO very stressful for me.   My middle son and his fiancee broke up.   They were talking last night though and  hopefully they can work things out.   She was suppose to go to Vegas with us.  UGH....hopefully she will decide to come...otherwise I probably will lose the money for her.   I didn't buy the insurance for the tickets.    I  am NOT going to stress over this....that is what I keep telling myself.   LOL  I stress over everything.   LOL  I am staying out of their business....if the get back together it will be them wanting it not me.    Adult kids....UGH!! I get to go babysit my granddaughter this AM.   I pray she's in a better mood than she has been in.    Poor thing....she's teething big time and drools constantly and has her hands constantly in her mouth.    She is almost 13 weeks old.   My son had 2 teeth at 6 weeks old and it looks like poor Tigerlily is going to cut teeth early too.    I've lost 2 1/2 lbs. so far this week.   Yesterday was extremely stressful and my BP was up and down due to it.   Hope today will be stress free for me.   Have a great weekend everyone.

Good morning

Work on the agenda today and tomorrow.  Hoping tomorrow is a short day so I can attend a wedding shower which I need to find out if I am going in with my sisters on a gift or need to add that to my agenda. 

My home phone and work line both have  a lot of static on the line and can't figure out the cause, going to have put in repair request with the phone company.  

Sunday will be heading to Sulphur Bluff to check on Dad

Don, can't believe they don't do direct deposit, I get very few checks but the ones I do get I now do mobile deposit.

Hey everyone.... do they usually weigh us before surgery? Last I weighed was the 29th so Monday will 1 week later & I'd really like to know how much I weighed right before surgery.

I don't remember the hospital weighing me before surgery. I use my weight that was submitted to insurance as my starting weight tho I did lose on the pre-op. I would weight at home and take a before picture. I didn't do a before picture when I had my revision in 09 but have one from original surgery in 96 which is at my heaviest.

Saundra....hope I have a good time.   I am stressed beyond measure.  My son broke off his engagement and I had bought his fiancee a ticket to Vegas too.   I called the airlines and I am almost losing ALL the money I paid for it.   They will issue me a credit voucher for $65. to book a flight within 60 days.   UGH .....I will probably end up losing that.   Life has been a living hell around my house since tues. when they were in a car accident.     It's gotten very very ugly and I am tired of people treating my son bad.   I went to FB last night and be-friended her and her entire family.    Enough is enough.   I need to get rid of this stress or I  could have a stroke.   Please ya'll keep me in your prayers.    Thank you,

Good morning everyone!

We have so much to get done between now & Monday morning; 75 hrs from now is surgery 
Besides packing for me & my husband we also have to make sure my little 8 month old niece has everything packed (since she mother who lives here too doesn't get everything; or much of anything for that matter )
Because of that (and her "forgetting" to feed the baby Monday while I wasat my pre-op appts) we are paying for her to stay at the nearby house for families of patients. That way we can keep tabs on her & hubby can make sure the baby is taken care of. So have lots to get packed & loaded in the van by Sunday evening.
I have started my "to pack" lists so hopefully we get everything done LOL

We like taking the little niece & nephew to the zoo, park, etc on weekends that hubby doesn't work so I think the 2yo is going to spend the night or weekend with us. Last weekend we went to both the Ft Worth & the Dallas zoo for some exercise so not sure what we'll do this weekend. Perhaps we'll go visit some various parks & play areas around the lake here :)

Dyneshia....I do remember being weighted when I checked into the hospital for my surgey.   Can't believe that I remember that.  LOL  I have some memory issues.   If they don't at the hospital where your surgery will be preformed....you could always weight at home and record it ( that is IF you have a scale there ) or request that they do a weight check on you when you are going back to your room before they call you for surgery.   Good luck to you and you will be in my thoughts and prayers !!!

Good morning, family!

I am crawling on to the train from the comfort of my recliner...May I bring my warm blanky with me? DEBBI TANK made me the blanky last Christmas, and I never go a day without it (think "Linus", in the Peanuts family)...

You know how you always hear when a kid starts day care or school they catch germs/get sic****il their immune system builds up? Well, MY mama's 55 y/o kid is sick today..after only working 4 days...Loving the change of atmosphere, with the job change, but am almost embarrassed at getting sick, and having to call in  on my FIRST week! Lucklily all owners/directors involved are fabulous people, whom I have known for many, many years, and they know I would never lie about being sick-even on a Friday!

DON-I know Thomas the Train very well, from having 7 great nieces and nephews, My Ayden (15 months) is learning to brush his teeth with his "Thomas" toothbrush and paste his GiGi got him.

Speaking of Ayden..he's all MINE this Sunday..his parents are coming up, from Austin, to go the races. and I'm trading them Richard for Ayden (they are getting gypped). TRACEY and I are working out a play date for Ayden and Blake--that will be a whole lot of blue eyes in one place!

That's about it in Gina-land...will check back in later..I need to take my blanky and go back to bed..I'm SUPPOSED to be sick, ya know....

Gina...get some Airborne and take it till you are use to being around kids.   I believe everyone who works in a daycare goes through this.   If you have not gotten your flu shot please do so when you can.    My youngest son works at our church's daycare and has for about 4 yrs.    He got sick pretty quickly after he started also.    The Airborne was his salvation!!   Hope you feel better soon.
