Good bye to a Texas icon
He "died" too young. I wonder if the State Fair people would let him come home to Kerens for a proper scrapping?

ETA: As part of this Cotten Harvest Festival gig there is always a blow up Big Tex along the highway. Wish I had a picture to post but there are flowers being put at the base of it. How cool.

Got One!!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Really sad news about Big Tex. but he will be back bigger & better than ever next year!!!
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.
