Watching the clock counting down time before alarm goes off and trying to go back to sleep.

Stressful day at work yesterday and afraid today will not be much better.

MIL was released from hospital, she will be staying with BIL for now.

House gets cleaned today but with all DH stuff from auctions in house makes it hard to notice.

Suffering a case of "sleepus interuptus" on this end.  02:00 the dog decided to have a case of grouchy pouch, or the foamies, and began the gagging she does preceeding projectile discharge.  Left her in the kitchen and she begins whining and barking.  All this and Jan had to be up at 04:00. 

Work is the only thing on the docket today.  I'll have to say yesterday was a good day.  Had a guy walk right out of his house into a pair of hand cuffs like a good turd.  We had been looking for him since Saturday.  He had a warrant for choking and hitting his wife.  Figured if I had to do the paperwork on him I might as well make it worth my while.  Wrote him a ticket for two City Ordinance violations that I was working on his property. Sorry about his luck.  Think it is called "multi tasking".

Good morning, all ! Hopping aboard, as promised..lots to tell..about DisneyWorld, etc..but no time now..naturally...I came in early, to have some "me time" and dang if the Gestapo didn't come in right behind me-and the office doesn't even officially open for another hour...crap...

Crap..Crap..Crap....have y'all missed me and my daily usago of the word "crap"?????? I just love that word..good for so many things...

Will check back later...The Gestapo has to go potty sometime...surely...

 Morning Saundra, Don, Gina and TMB Family,

I've got the cleaning out bug !!!  Saturday I took 5 HUGE contractor bags of clothes...shoes and purses to Goodwill.    I need to keep up the cleaning.   One of my cats just knocked off a glass pumpkin off my sofa table and broke it.  UGH I hate when that happens.   I LOVED that pumpkiin too...it said Harvest Blessings on it.   Thank God it didn't completely shatter just the bottom and back side.   I moved it to my fireplace mantle.   I'm SO ready for cooler weather to stay.   I hate this flip flopping weather...don't know whether to wear capris....shorts or jeans.   UGH   I'm probably going to be painting at my son and DIL's house soon,   So far everything looks good on them getting it.    They close on the 24th if the VA approves it when they check it out.    LOTS of work needs to be done though.   Some they will have to wait on ( removing carpet from kitchen and baths UGH ).   Dated wallpaper ( 70's ) and gross paint colors have to go first.    The homeowners were originals from 1967and are now in their mid 80's and have NOT updated anything.    Every room has a different color carpet too.   BUT they are getting the house for a great price $30,000 below neighborhood value.     SO they are thrilled and it is a beautiful house in spite of all the things that needs to be done.   I'm thrilled that Tigerlily will have her own home to live in and a yard for my granddoggiies too.    Prayers for all in need and PLEASE keep me in your prayers.....LOTS going on that I will be facing soon and not pleasant things either.    I HATE STRESS !!!! Not good for my weight !!!   Thanks....love you guys !!!!

VIVIAN-what neighborhood is their house in? Does it have a nice yard? Trees? Where will the old couple go (I worry about these things!)?

Thru the years I have seen many elderly folks move out of their "family homes". I can tell you, honestly-of the ones who sold/rented their homes to young people-especially those with small children-they were THRILLED to do so..they would tell me "It's not a home without the sound of children"

Gina.... The house is vacant & has been for 6 months or more. The house is in White Lake Hills neighborhood ( I believe that's its name ) off 1-30 & Bridge St. I think he said the older couple moved to either a nursing home or assisted living. Their 2 daughters & son are taking care of the sale of the house. The mom doesn't know anything ( dementia ) & the dad has a sharp mind still but can't get around. I'm sure they'd be happy that the house is being purchased by my son. They can't wait. It's a really cute house & big..., over 2200 ft.
