Kimberley Grimes

Everyone, please say a prayer for Kimberly Grimes.  She is in Baylor Hospital, Dallas and needs all our prayers.  I know she is FB friends with several on this board.  I don't know all the particulars for her problems, but they are severe.  She is in the Roberts Bldg., Rm # 1618, Gaston Ave., Dallas TX  75246 if anyone wants to send her a card.  She thinks she will be there about a month.

Have you heard from Kim?   I saw on FB the other day that she thought that she would only be there about 5 days.   I've been praying for her.    She is a very sweet person who I call my friend.   I guess I need to just break down and call her although I didn't really want to bother her in the hospital.   I'm praying that your doctor....will take over and treat her.   I know IMHO he is the only one I know that has the experience with DS ....I know when she was seeking a doctor to do this for her I suggested him.       Thank you for posting this on the TMB although I think just about everyone on here who knows her is also on FB with her.   Thanks again and please let me know she is in our thoughts and prayers.

I was told that she have back surgery + has staff infection I believe.  I also believe she has a feeding tube. She is on a lot of pain meds, so she is in & out.  Yes, she has had way too many complications with the revision.  Wish she would have gone to Dr. Stewart.  Please pray for her recovery.

 WOW I had not heard about back surgery but I did hear about the staph.    I told her that Dr. Stewart was the only one with LOTS of experience with DS and advised her to use him.   In the end it was her decision who she used.   Really makes me sick since I have a friend who has a friend who had DS with her surgeon and he released her as his patient.    UGH   Praying daily for Kim.

Kim posted this morning that she "hated hospitals".  that was all---  Hoping that means she is starting to feel a little better.  I'm putting a card into the mail today.  I have plans go out of town this weekend.  So can't go see her till next weekend.
