Lubbock Support Groups

Hi Everyone,

Can someone get me a connection for a WLS group in the Lubbock area?  My sister-in-law just had RnY.  

I'd greatly appreciate it.

 Hi Nina,

I just looked on the OH SG list and none came up for Lubbock.    You might want to tell your sister in law to call some of the hospitals in Lubbock and see if they have any support groups there and if they are open to the public.   Is her surgeon in Lubbock?  Does he have a support group for his patients?   If not and there are none nearby.   I would look into OA groups ( Overeaters Annom. )   I know that is a group to lose wieght and diet...but I'm sure they could offer her encouragement if she can't get it anywhere else.    Also here on OH some of the groups are online.   She might want to  or think about joining one of them if that is her only option.    Tell her I said congratulations.    Hope your doing well.    Love you girl !!!!   Have a great weekend.
