ALL ABOARD !!!

Good morning, all ! I'm sitting here, taking adavantage of the quiet-just me and the chis. I watched 2 recorded episodes of Y&R, then turned the TV off..

Had a busy day yesterday, and it was GOOD for me, as I tend to hibernate on the weekends. TRACEY and I spent the night with LORALEA on Friday (T got to sleep in Lexi's raised up Princess twin bed and I got Emily's butterly/flower lower bunk--we both felt VERY special!)...We got up at 04:30 and went to a home decor/craft warehouse, where LL works for the company. They have a deal where the employess can fill sacks/bring them out to their "runners" (me and Y), then go back for more..all together we paid $100, got at LEAST $500 of stuff-probably more-it covered LL's front room..all the money taised goes to charity. After we divided stuff up I came home with 3 big sacks and a box of picture frames,,

After the bag adventure we did a favial party, with another gaggle of females, coming out looking very "glamorous", of course, so we met LL and T's families for burgers-couldn't let all that glamour go to waste!!

Then..I cam home and crashed..

Today's plans incluse figuring out where to stash my treasures from yesterday, and go purchase a garbage disposal..not exactly exciting-but at least I'm not hibernating!!!

Good morning Gina. Glad you had fun this weekend. I've been hanging at home and getting rest and a few chores done. Today is SS and church,then rest again. I'm off tomorrow, so I'll take care of things that need doing then.

I am up and about to get ready for SS, then will pick up DH and go get some breakfast. Neighbor kids are suppose to come go swimming but not sure if weather going to hold out.

Domestic duties today.  Jan wanting to clean out the freezer.  What meets the garbage can then meets the dumpster at work before it gets to "funkifying" the garage.  Dog gets a b-a-t-h as well.

I want to know how the calling boys and hanging up when they answered went? (I so remember doing this and my grandmother yelling at me!)

As for me, yesterday we went to a farmer's market in Burnet - which is about 20 miles from us. Got some wonderful fall blooming bulbs which I am going to plant next week. (And we drove to Bertram to go to the Oatmeal Fest and found out it is Labor Day weekend - NOT my error - it was Mike's.)

That said - lawyer tomorrow to sign paperwork for the closing of my mother's trust. And on Thursday, my baby boy Austin is back home for the long weekend - as he is working every other weekend at our golf course to have spending money at college.
