Sunday WLS Express

It is Sunday...time for me to go to church and SS. I'll come home and Ben has to leave for Louisiana for a training for a few days. He will have a 6 hour or so drive today. He will be home late Wednesday night.

We had some wild storm here last night with lightening, 60 mile per our winds and rain. I have 2 tree limbs down as big as many of your yard trees in the city. I have to get Ben to helpnwith them before he leaves because I need to mow tomorrow.

Mowing is something I need to do some time this week but not today.  Restocking, laundry and getting Jan's grandkids back to their Mom and Dad this afternoon.  Then take a nap!!

It is a sad day here.  Duke one of dogs died this morning. It was so sudden he started having breathing problems do Vet gave us some meds but didn't help.  He started getting worse so we took him to a 24 hour vet this morning. He thought he had heart problems and said our options was to put him to sleep or try treatment which could cost a lot.  We picked to try treatment and while he went back to get us medicine for him, he died on the table.   He was at least 12 years old and was laid back and loved attention, followed me all over the house. 


Plan to just chill around the house rest of the day.

So sad to hear of the sudden loss of your furbaby. Having just lost mine I understand your grief. If you dont know of it, Google "The Rainbow Bridge" . It will be comforting to read!

SAUNDRA-my sincere thoughts and (((hugs))), in the loss of Duke. We all know what a true loss it is

spent most of yesterday in bed, left work early. Would be there now but there was "no one" to work for me. Get here and there was some one but I will stay to prove a point. Going to see WLS doc on Tues, think hernias have developed...again! Really sick of this and in the same spot as the great Cleveland Clinic fixed! We shall see.
