We returned home Sunday after spending a little over 2 wks at our rustic cabin (no indoor plumbing)  in the mountains on the Colorado/New Mexico border.  It was a nice time without any problems as far as being just under 5 months post op.  We had planned to stay in Amarillo this week but the granddaughter sent a text that her car wasn't running so we returned home to Abilene.  It ended up being a simple fix of a new battery that Honda covered since the battery was still under warranty.  The GOOD NEWS is that I left weighing 201 and expected to hit a goal to be under  200 upon my return.  I wasn't expecting to be 192 so was very pleased.  My body will probably sit at this weight for a couple of weeks as I'm learning this seems to be my norm.  The next goal is 180.
Hope all had a great 4th of July.

Thanks all.  I've been trying to get to and stay under 200 for awhile so it is a great feeling.  I thought it would take longer since I can no longer participate in land aerobics.  So I am thankful for each pound that comes off.  I know that I will need to be real diligent about what I eat in hopes of keeping it off.  In His Love, Barb
